Made my Sennheiser HD800 the headphones they were supposed to be. The Hydra has solved everything and the resolution and detail achieved has made me look at the cable before anything else! I'm using a Sony NW-WM1Z J Region Uncapped and I haven't found anything else that comes close to the Hydra. Thank you for the recent work Matt changing to Pentaconn.

Originally had a Silver Widow 22 but changed to a Hyrda 18 IEM. Both of these were used with my K10s CIEMs. The Hyrda is much more comfortable behind the ear as it is just a single cable instead of twisted pairs meaning it is smoother and there is less rubbing. Sound wise the Hyrda seems to keep pretty much all the characteristics of the Silver Widow 22 but with slightly more forward treble, this suits the K10s perfectly and makes them sound fantastic!

The only disadvantage is that it is a tad stiffer than the Silver Widow 22 despite being thinner overall. To be honest though that is to be expected when you get such a thick cable. Regardless, I am very happy and would recommend this to anyone who wants to have impactful bass and slightly more treble.
